Payment Methods Accepted
At the store, we accept Cash, Interac, and Cheques in Canadian Funds.
For orders through our website, we accept payment by Paypal, Visa, and Mastercard.
All prices are quoted in Canadian Dollars.
Books will usually be shipped within 1 business day of receipt of payment.
All books are wrapped and packaged adequately to prevent damage during shipping.
Packaging and shipping are charged at actual cost and may vary from the default amounts. If our cost is lower, we will reduce the charges to you. If shipping charges are higher, we will contact you first for approval before charging your credit card.
If you are not paying by credit card, please contact us first for the final total cost, rather than using the shopping cart checkout.
Default shipping rates are based on a packaged weight of 500 gr to 1 kg.
Within Canada and to the United States, we generally use Canada Post expedited shipping with tracking and insurance. There may be an additonal insurance charge for packages with a value over $100. Smaller packages may sometimes be sent for less, but without tracking or insurance. To all other countries we use Canada Post small packet surface or air mail for packaged weights of under 2kg. This method does not include tracking or insurance and is not available for heavier packages, so please inquire about rates if you have different requirements.
RefundsWe guarantee the condition of every book as it's described on the website. If you're not satisfied, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving the book to arrange for a return.
The book must be returned, well packaged, in its original condition and with our book IDs still intact, within two weeks of receipt and we will refund the amount to your credit card. If we have made an error we will also pay for return shipping.
